Hitachi Energy announces $528 million Mississippi investment, more than 650 jobs

Hitachi Energy is investing $528 million in Mississippi and creating more than 650 jobs, according to an announcement attributed to Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves. The company described the project as the largest investment worldwide in its history.

The announcement also said the number of jobs in Mississippi has reached another all-time high.
