Fifty-eight Oxford School District students in grades 5-12 were selected to participate in the 2026 Mississippi All-State Honor Choir, according to the district.
Students representing Oxford High School, Oxford Middle School, Oxford Intermediate School and Central Elementary School were included among the selections.

The district said its choir programs are celebrating the students’ achievement.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
