Vicksburg police respond to two-vehicle crash at Indiana Avenue and North Frontage Road

Vicksburg Police Department said in a Facebook post that officers are working a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Indiana Avenue and North Frontage Road. The department said the collision resulted in minor injuries and that emergency personnel responded to the scene.

Police warned that traffic may be impacted while officers complete their investigation and clear the roadway. Motorists were urged to use caution, reduce speed in the area and consider alternate routes if possible.

The Vicksburg Police Department, which provides law enforcement services for the city, often posts traffic alerts and public-safety notices on social media to keep residents informed. Intersections are common sites for collisions nationwide, and officials typically secure scenes and investigate before reopening roadways to ensure safety.

Officials thanked the public for their patience and cooperation as first responders work to safely reopen the intersection. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
