Vicksburg police join community for National Day of Prayer

The Vicksburg Police Department said in a Facebook post that its officers joined residents in observance of the National Day of Prayer, standing alongside community members for a ceremony that the department described as meaningful and reflective.

The post said officers attended in support of faith, fellowship and the strength of the community, and noted that the department’s chief participated in the program, representing the agency’s commitment to service beyond routine duties.
