TUPELO, Mississippi — Tupelo police are investigating after gunfire struck an occupied home Tuesday evening on North Green Street, but no injuries were reported, the Tupelo Police Department said.
Officers responded at about 7:20 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of North Green Street and later confirmed that gunfire hit the residence, police said. Authorities said a white Dodge Durango with black rims was seen leaving the area.

The Tupelo Police Department serves the city in northeastern Mississippi. Investigators did not release additional information about suspects or a possible motive. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
