Starkville Driver Service Bureau closes for move, reopens June 22

The Starkville Driver Service Bureau said in a Facebook post that it is closed this week while it moves to a new location and will reopen Monday, June 22, at 8 a.m.

The bureau, which provides driver licensing and related motor vehicle services for local residents, did not provide the new address in the post. Customers who need services typically visit driver service centers for tasks such as license renewals, identification cards and other routine transactions.

The temporary closure may require residents to delay planned visits or seek services at other driver service locations or online, depending on the transactions they need. Officials advising schedule-sensitive customers to plan ahead and to check the bureau’s official channels for updates.

This notice is part of the bureau’s relocation process and is intended to minimize disruption as staff move equipment and records to the new facility. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
