Southaven police supervisors earn Trilogy Award after FBI-LEEDA training
Southaven Police Department said this week it hosted the FBI-LEEDA Executive Leadership Institute and that several supervisors have earned the Trilogy Award after completing the class led by instructor Les Kachurek.
The department posted on Facebook that Major Ainsworth, Captain Branning, Captain Davis (not pictured) and Lieutenant Smith are receiving the Trilogy Award. FBI-LEEDA is a national organization that provides leadership training for law enforcement agencies, the department said.
The Facebook post noted that supervisors in the FBI-LEEDA program must complete three courses to earn the prestigious Trilogy Award: Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute. Those courses focus on equipping participants with advanced leadership and management skills, the post said.
Leadership training programs such as FBI-LEEDA aim to strengthen supervision, improve management practices and support community policing efforts at the local level. Southaven is a city in Mississippi. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
