The department recognized Captain Davis as a recipient of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award after he was not present for class photos yesterday, the department said on Facebook.
FBI-LEEDA is a national organization that offers leadership training for law enforcement. The department said the Trilogy Award recognizes completion of a series of advanced leadership courses offered through the organization.
The department said it currently has seven members who have earned the Trilogy Award and that other members are working toward it. The post said attending leadership classes strengthens the department, its officers and the community they serve.
