Vicksburg police hold supervisors meeting to align priorities

Chief Larry Burns met with all supervisors at the Vicksburg Police Department, the department said in a Facebook post. The meeting provided leadership an opportunity to discuss priorities, review ongoing initiatives and address challenges as the department works to serve and protect Vicksburg residents.

The department said bringing supervisors together strengthens communication, reinforces accountability and aligns efforts across units. The post said the gathering is intended to keep personnel focused on the department’s mission and to promote teamwork and professionalism.

The Vicksburg Police Department is the city’s primary law enforcement agency. The department said officers and staff remain dedicated to keeping Vicksburg safe while building trust and partnerships throughout the community. The Facebook post included hashtags highlighting leadership, teamwork and community engagement.
