Reeves hosts Cadet Class 70 ahead of graduation

Governor Tate Reeves and First Lady Elee Reeves hosted Cadet Class 70 as the class nears graduation, a Facebook post said, with 54 cadets remaining and preparing to take the next step in serving the people of Mississippi.

“Keep going Cadet Class 70! You’re almost there,” the post said. “I am proud of their dedication, discipline, and commitment to public safety,” it added.

The post also thanked TAC officers for their role in training the cadets, saying the officers have dedicated countless hours to training and pushing the group every step of the way. It said that the leadership and commitment of those officers are helping shape the next generation of law enforcement.

Law enforcement cadet training provides foundational instruction in public safety, procedures and community policing that prepares graduates for patrol and other duties across the state. The post emphasized the cadets’ readiness to serve their communities.
