A Facebook post said drop boxes have been placed at four Rankin County government buildings in Brandon, Mississippi, for anyone who wishes to donate but is unable to attend an unspecified event or collection.
The locations listed in the post are: Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, 221 N. Timber St.; Rankin County Justice Court, 201 North St.; Rankin County Circuit Court lobby, 215 E. Government St.; and Rankin County Board of Supervisors lobby, 211 E. Government St. All addresses are in Brandon.
These sites are county government offices in Brandon, the county seat of Rankin County, and are commonly used for public services and community notices. Placing drop boxes at such locations can make it easier for residents to contribute when they cannot attend in person.
