The Oxford Police Department announced on its Facebook page that Capt. Kevin Parker was named The Oxford Eagle Best of Oxford 2026 winner in the Law Enforcement category.
The department said Parker represents the department through his leadership, dedication and commitment to serving the community and that it is proud to have him on the team.
The Oxford Eagle is a local newspaper that publishes the Best of Oxford contest results recognizing businesses, organizations and individuals in the community. Awards such as this highlight public recognition of local officials and can reflect community views on policing and public service.
The department included a link to the full Best of Oxford list on The Oxford Eagle website. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
