North Pike Lady Jaguars donate grilled chicken plates to Pike County Sheriff’s Office

North Pike Lady Jaguar softball players donated grilled chicken plates to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, the department said in a post on its Facebook page.

Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones thanked the team, along with coaches, families and supporters, for providing the meals to deputies and staff, the sheriff’s office said. The department called the gesture a reminder of the strong partnership between the community and law enforcement.

The sheriff’s office said the thoughtfulness and generosity of the young players and their supporters are greatly appreciated and reflect values of teamwork and service. The post was provided by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department.
