Moss Point police seek woman wanted in vehicle shooting

MOSS POINT — The Moss Point Police Department is asking the public to help locate a woman wanted in connection with a shooting into a vehicle, officials said.

Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old Amarian Milan Watson. The department said Watson is wanted on charges of shooting into a vehicle and attempted aggravated assault.

Investigators said the incident occurred on Frederick Street near Briggs Street, where the suspect allegedly fired a gun into a vehicle. Authorities did not provide additional details about victims or injuries in the notice released to the public.

Anyone with information about Watson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by using the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. The police department said information must be submitted through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a reward. Crime Stoppers programs generally accept anonymous tips and may offer rewards for information leading to arrests.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the department said. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
