Mississippi Department of Public Safety opens applications

“Your future starts here,” the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a Facebook post announcing that it is accepting applications through Aug. 29 for careers across the state.

The department urged prospective applicants to visit its website to apply or to contact a recruiter to learn more about serving Mississippi. The post did not provide additional details about specific openings or requirements.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is the state agency responsible for a range of public safety functions, including law enforcement and driver licensing. Recruiting efforts such as this aim to sustain services that affect daily life on highways, in communities and at driver service centers.

The announcement offers an opportunity for Mississippians seeking careers in public service. Prospective applicants should use the department’s official website or its recruiting staff for accurate application instructions and deadlines. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
