Madison County Sheriff’s Office seeks tips in 2019 fatal shooting

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in the 2019 death of Brian Jermaine Fleming, according to a post by Central MS Crime Stoppers on Facebook. Fleming was found with fatal gunshot wounds on Friday, April 26, 2019, at about 5:55 p.m., lying in the middle of Truitt Road between Rocky Hill Road and Fowler Road, the post said.

The case is being treated as a cold case, the post said. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,500, and tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477) or online at https://www.p3tips.com/tipform.aspx?ID=116, the post said.

Photos of Fleming were provided by the victim’s family, the post said. Central MS Crime Stoppers and similar programs often allow callers to remain anonymous when submitting tips.
