The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post titled “Warrant Wednesday” that Claudia Larue Robertson, 27, of Steens, Mississippi, is wanted on a felony charge of possession of a stolen firearm.
The sheriff’s office is asking the public for help locating Robertson. Anyone with information was asked to call the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at (662) 328-6788 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151, the post said. Tips also may be submitted anonymously through the T3Tips app.
The post said Crime Stoppers guarantees anonymity for tipsters and that individuals may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest. The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office thanked the community for its assistance in keeping the county safe.
Lowndes County is in eastern Mississippi and the sheriff’s office is the primary law enforcement agency for the area. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
