Lowndes County seeks 41-year-old on meth possession charge
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help locating 41-year-old Gregory Darnell Moody, who is wanted on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, the office said in a Facebook post titled “Warrant Wednesday.”
Anyone with information about Moody’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at (662) 328-6788 or Golden Triangle Crimestoppers at 1-800-530-7151. Tips also may be submitted anonymously through the T3Tips app, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office said tipsters who contact Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest. The office said it appreciates the community’s assistance in keeping the county safe.
Lowndes County, in northeastern Mississippi, relies on partnerships between law enforcement and community groups such as Crime Stoppers to help locate people wanted on warrants and to solve crimes. Possession of methamphetamine is a criminal offense in Mississippi and is commonly pursued by local and state prosecutors.
