Lee County deputies arrest two after Verona traffic stop finds meth
VERONA, Mississippi — Deputies arrested two Lee County residents after a traffic stop in Verona in May 2026 uncovered a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine, the Lee County Sheriffs Office said.
The sheriffs office said deputies pulled over a vehicle on East Main Street for multiple traffic violations. The driver was identified as Grant N. Gardner, 42, and a passenger as Kedreick Mister, 42.
During the stop, deputies discovered what the office described as a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia. Gardner and Mister were transported to the Lee County Adult Detention Center and charged with aggravated trafficking of a Schedule II controlled substance, in addition to several misdemeanor traffic offenses, the post said.
A Lee County justice court judge set bond at $25,000 for each suspect. The Lee County Sheriffs Office provided the information in a Facebook post attributed to Sheriff Jim H. Johnsons office. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
