The Jackson Police Department issued a Silver Alert seeking public help locating 43-year-old Torracellus “Torrie” Hardy, the department said in a Facebook post.
Police described Hardy as a Black man, 6-foot, 270 pounds, with a dark complexion, a lazy right eye and a stocky build. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing, police said.
Authorities said Hardy has a medical condition that might impair his judgment. The department identified the reporting party as staff at Urban Rehab.
Silver Alert systems are used to notify the public about missing adults who may have cognitive or medical impairments; procedures and eligibility vary by state. Police asked anyone who sees Hardy or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Jackson Police Department or local law enforcement immediately.
