Jackson police investigate homicide on Cromwell Street

The Jackson Police Department said in a Facebook post that it is conducting a homicide investigation on Cromwell Street at Rutledge Avenue. One female victim is deceased, the department said.

The post asked the public to stand by for further information. It did not provide additional details about the time of the incident, the victim’s identity or any possible suspects.
