HATTIESBURG, Miss. — The Hattiesburg Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the 1800 block of Lincoln Road, the department said.
At approximately 4:05 p.m. on April 7, a black male entered a business and demanded money, the police said. The suspect fled in a white or silver passenger car with an undetermined amount of cash before officers arrived.
Investigators said the suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black-and-white shoes and a gray hat. Police said they have obtained photos of the suspect and the vehicle and are seeking tips from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help identify the person.
