Hattiesburg opens registration for Police Athletic League summer camp
HATTIESBURG, Miss. — The Hattiesburg Police Department said registration for its Police Athletic League summer camp will take place May 4-6, 2026 at the Ben McNair Recreation Center, 315 Conti St. The department announced the camp runs June 1 through July 17.
The department said families may register May 4-6 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the recreation center. Daily camp hours will begin with drop-off and breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and conclude with pickup at 6 p.m.
The camp will include sports, field trips, arts and crafts and safety demonstrations, the department said. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Spaces are limited, and the department encouraged families to register early to secure a spot for their camper.
Police Athletic League programs are commonly run by local law enforcement agencies to provide supervised activities, skill-building and community engagement for young people. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
