VICKSBURG, Mississippi — Registration is open for the Vicksburg Police Department’s Summer Youth Streetball program, which runs June 9 through July 17, the department said. Sessions are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

The program is open to children ages 6 to 18. Participants ages 6 to 12 will take part at Warren Central Junior High School, while those ages 13 to 18 will meet at Vicksburg Junior High School.

Registration costs $25 per child, with a $10 fee for each additional child in a family. Registration forms are available at the Vicksburg Police Department, the department said.

For more information, contact Danielle Williams at 601-218-1766 or 601-801-5310, or Katina Cooper at 601-801-5320. Police-run summer youth programs are commonly used to provide supervised recreation during summer months and to foster connections between law enforcement and young residents.
