Gulfport officers graduate from Mississippi Command College
The Gulfport Police Department posted on Facebook that Sgt. Bryan Farrar, Det. Sgt. Kristen Martin, Sgt. Jessica Schwartz and Lt. TJ King graduated from the Mississippi Command College at the University of Mississippi.
The Mississippi Command College is an advanced executive leadership program designed to prepare experienced law enforcement professionals for executive command positions. The program provides intensive instruction in leadership, strategic planning, organizational management and public safety decision making.
The department said the graduates gained skills intended to help them lead with vision, professionalism and integrity. The announcement said the accomplishment reflects the officers’ commitment to continuous learning and to serving the citizens of Gulfport at a high level.
