Guardian podcast partners with Digital Guardians for season three
The Guardian: A Law Enforcement Podcast announced a partnership with Digital Guardians in a Facebook post, saying season three will be a collaborative effort between Chief Mark Ballard and the Mississippi-based program.
According to the post, Digital Guardians is designed to empower Mississippi parents, educators and community members with practical tools to guide youth toward safe, responsible technology use. The program partners with local law enforcement and relies on research-based approaches to address concerns such as digital addiction, online predators and cyberbullying.
Digital Guardians is led by Dr. Bekah Sparks of the Mississippi State University Extension Service. The Extension Service is the outreach and engagement arm of Mississippi State University, providing education and resources to communities across the state.
Organizers say the partnership aims to combine law enforcement perspective with community education to help families navigate online risks. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
