Cotton District Arts Festival prompts early road closures, vehicle towing
Organizers of the Cotton District Arts Festival said on Facebook that event staff will begin relocating vehicles left in designated areas at 2 a.m. Saturday, April 18, ahead of the festival.
Road closures in the Cotton District will start at 4:30 a.m. and are expected to last until about 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., organizers said. The festival itself runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and officials warned that streets could reopen earlier as cleanup wraps up.
The post directs residents and visitors to review attached maps showing road closure and tow-away zone details and asks that people move vehicles to avoid being towed. Organizers said the measures are intended to ensure a safe and orderly event for attendees and nearby residents.
