Biloxi police seek help identifying petit larceny suspect

The Biloxi Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man shown in a video who is alleged to have taken personal property April 18, 2026, in the 200 block of Reynoir Street, the department said in a June 9 release from its PIO Division.

The release lists reference number 260405404 and provides several contact points for anyone with information. Officer Newell can be reached at (228) 351-0491, the department’s Criminal Investigation Division at (228) 435-6112 and dispatch at (228) 392-0641. Tips also may be emailed to the Criminal Intelligence Unit at ciu@biloxi.ms.us or submitted to Mississippi Crime Stoppers at (877) 787-5898 and online at mscoastcrimestoppers.com, the release said.

Petit larceny generally refers to a misdemeanor theft of property valued below a statutory threshold and is handled by local law enforcement and prosecutors. The Biloxi Police Department serves the coastal Mississippi community and routinely asks the public for help identifying suspects in ongoing investigations, the release said.

Anyone named or pictured in the notice is presumed innocent until proven guilty. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
