Gulfport High School class gives 21 students look at law enforcement

The sixth year of Gulfport High School’s Law & Public Safety Class included 21 students who spent five weeks learning about law enforcement and the criminal justice system, according to the Gulfport Police Department.

During the program, students toured the Gulfport Police Department, examined a mock crime scene and worked alongside members of Forensics, CID and SWAT. They also learned from the Harrison County Public Defender’s Office and the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office.

The department thanked Mr. Necaise and the students for their enthusiasm, dedication and engagement throughout the program.
