Scott County Sheriff’s Office mourns Claiborne County Deputy Terrian Bailey
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office expressed condolences to the family, friends, fellow law enforcement officers and others affected by the death of Claiborne County Deputy Sheriff Terrian Bailey.
In a statement, the office said Bailey’s death was felt throughout the law enforcement community and expressed support for his family, fellow deputies, department and the Claiborne County community.
The office also prayed for strength, comfort and peace for Bailey’s family and for his fellow officers as they face the loss. It said it hoped the truth would come to light and justice would be served against those responsible.
The statement was signed by Sheriff Mike Lee, Chief Deputy Brad Ellis and Public Information Officer Joshua Thames. It concluded by honoring Bailey’s service and sacrifice: “Deputy Bailey your watch may have ended but your service, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten. Rest easy, Brother. We’ve got the watch from here.”
