Traffic signals along U.S. 98 from Westover Drive to the Target area are operating in flash mode following severe weather this evening, according to the Hattiesburg Police Department.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible. Those traveling through the corridor should slow down, use caution and follow directions from officers directing traffic at affected intersections. Motorists should allow extra time while normal signal operation is restored.
