Starkville police issue postgame traffic guidance for football weekend

The Starkville Police Department is advising drivers to prepare for postgame traffic flow in the Starkville area after this weekend’s football game.

Typical alternate routes that are used to avoid traffic during the day will be closed so traffic can use major thoroughfares. The designated traffic flow will begin when the game ends and continue until heavy traffic in the area has cleared sufficiently.

Officials directed the public to https://dws.hailstate.com/ for all gameday information.
