Smurfy Christmas Parade planned for Dec. 5 in Meridian

The City of Meridian, Mississippi, is organizing the Smurfy Christmas Parade at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, on 22nd Avenue South.

The event will feature lights, music and holiday activities, according to the city. Community Development Director Terrell Thompson said the parade is intended to bring families together and celebrate Christmas in the city.
