Pat Conner, described as one of the top Class of 2028 high school baseball players in Louisiana, has committed to the Bulldogs. Conner is a 6-foot-5 pitcher, according to Blake Levine Sports Reporter.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
