Mississippi archives department hosts fall teacher workshop for 95 educators

The Mississippi Department of Archives and History hosted a 2026 Fall Teacher workshop attended by 95 educators and presenters from around the state.

Brent Kenyon delivered the keynote presentation, focusing on the importance of storytelling in sharing and preserving history. The workshop also provided teachers with resources, educational workshops and other opportunities.
