Pontotoc Electric Power Association is reminding Mississippi drivers that the state’s Move Over Law requires motorists to slow down and move over a lane when they see orange cones and warning signs ahead, if they can do so safely.
The association said drivers should pay attention around work areas and warned that distraction can cause motorists to pass warnings without recognizing them. It asked drivers to slow down, move over and give crews room to work safely.
