Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office urges drivers to slow down, move over

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to slow down and move over when they see law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services or other emergency vehicles stopped along the roadway.

The office said motorists should move over when it is safe and give people working along the roadside room to do their jobs, helping protect those at the scene and others traveling through the area.
