Probationary Firefighter Jacob Martin has completed Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations training, according to the Wiggins Fire Department.
The department said the course is one of the first major steps in a new firefighter’s education. Completing it is required before Martin can advance to Basic Firefighter training, where he will continue developing the knowledge and skills needed to serve the community safely and effectively.
