A free community Narcan training is scheduled for tomorrow evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the OPD Training Room, 9 Industrial Park Drive.
The Oxford Police Department, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department and University Police Department are partnering with Communicare to provide the training. Narcan will be provided to all attendees, and registration is not required. Everyone is welcome.

A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
