Mrs. White’s class from D’Iberville High School visited the D’Iberville Police Department last week as part of the students’ career exploration curriculum.
During the visit, students toured the department, interacted with officers and learned about careers in law enforcement. They also heard about the skills, training and dedication required to serve the community.

Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
