DeSoto County Government marked Patriot Day by remembering those who died on Sept. 11, 2001, and honoring the courage and selflessness of first responders.
The message also reflected on the strength and unity shown by the nation in the face of tragedy and remembered people whose lives were forever changed. It concluded, “We will never forget.”
