The Union County School District joined the nation in observing Patriot Day, honoring the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and the heroes who responded to the attacks.
The district also reflected on the courage, sacrifice and unity shown in the days that followed, according to a message shared by Ingomar Attendance Center.
