Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office honors four women ahead of National Police Women’s Day

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office is beginning its recognition of National Police Women’s Day a day early because its offices will be closed on Sept. 12, the day designated for the observance.

The office recognized Chief Jones, Lt. Moore, Lt. Griffin and Sgt. James for their dedication, courage, professionalism and commitment to serving and protecting the community.

The sheriff’s office also expressed gratitude for the women’s strength, compassion and leadership and thanked them for answering the call and serving each day.
