Suspect in custody after woman shot in face in Pike County

A suspect is in custody after a woman was shot in the face on Ed Brumfield Road in Pike County. The victim was in stable condition.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests, one for burglary and another involving breaking and entering and sexual assault.

Meridian police arrested Chamarion Naylor, 20, in connection with a Labor Day shooting. He faces a murder charge and has a $1 million bond.
