Spotty showers and thunderstorms have begun to redevelop across East Mississippi, according to the US National Weather Service Jackson Mississippi.
The showers and thunderstorms could linger into the overnight hours. Residents in East Mississippi might hear a clap of thunder tonight, the weather service said.
