Olive Branch officials warned of elevated fire danger from noon to 7 p.m., citing low humidity, winds and dry fuels that could allow grass fires to spread quickly.
The Olive Branch Fire Department and Olive Branch Police Department urged residents to avoid open flames and sparks, keep vehicles off dry grass and properly discard cigarettes.
