A Heat Advisory remains in effect across the area through at least Tuesday, with heat index values expected to range from 105 to 109 degrees, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.
High temperatures are forecast to reach near-record to record levels this week, ranging from the upper 90s to around 100 degrees.
