Hinds County Sheriff’s Office thanks Col. Chris Gillard, Pinelake Church for support

The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that it extends its deepest appreciation to MHP Col. Chris Gillard, retired, and Pinelake Church for their support of the Youth Warriors Summer Camp.

The post said the group’s generosity included a luncheon at Char and gift cards provided to every deputy and staffer who assisted. The sheriff’s office said the gestures reflect a commitment to service, partnership and community investment.

The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency serving Hinds County, Mississippi, and frequently partners with local organizations on community programs. The agency’s post highlights the role of outside groups in supporting activities that involve deputies and young people in the county.

Pinelake Church is a Mississippi-based congregation that has participated in local outreach and charitable efforts. The sheriff’s office said it is grateful for the continued collaboration and the impact on deputies, youth and citizens of Hinds County. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
