The Pontotoc Swim Team placed fifth in the boys, girls and overall team standings at the All Shook Up Invitational, with each finish coming among 16 teams.
Thomas Jefcoat finished third in the 100-yard backstroke, while Liam Rackley placed sixth in the event. Ruth Ann Burton took third in the 100-yard breaststroke, and Reagan Rackley finished third in the 500-yard freestyle.

Carson Poynor placed eighth in the 100-yard butterfly, and Callie Anne Patrick was sixth in the event.
Pontotoc’s boys 200-yard medley relay team of Elijah Farris, Carson Poynor, Thomas Jefcoat and Jake Cooley finished sixth. The girls 400-yard freestyle relay team of Reagan Rackley, Ali Larabee, Callie Anne Patrick and Ruth Ann Burton placed fourth.
Pontotoc Athletics thanked the swimmers, coaches, parents and supporters and gave a special acknowledgment to sponsor Bishop’s Body Shop.
