Jackson State men’s golf finishes third at Magicians on the Green

Jackson State finished third at the Magicians on the Green in Memphis, with Emmanuel Jensen tying for fourth individually after shooting a final-round 71 at the Links at Pine Hill.

Jensen finished at 1-over 211 after opening with a 3-under 67 and carding a 3-over 73 in the second round. Timur Alalin placed 12th overall at 7-over 217 after shooting a final-round 3-under 67.

The Tigers posted a team score of 31-over 871, finishing behind champion Henderson State at 6-under 834 and host LeMoyne-Owen at 26-over 866. Jackson State finished one shot ahead of fourth-place NW Mississippi, which scored 32-over 872.
